I began writing Skirt Tales when I was hired as a columnist for a newspaper in 2002.

A few of the original Tales have been dusted off and reprinted here.

I am a writer. A journalist.

I like to tell stories, I always have.

Everyone has a story to tell, it's just that some people are apprehensive about revealing them. I'm lucky, people like to share their secrets with me. And sometimes I re-tell them, with all of the names changed of course.

Maybe you'll see yourself in some of the stories that I write.
